Endoscopy Centers Reopen
On May 1st, 2020, Governor Cooper eased the restrictions to perform procedures in Endoscopy Centers.
Digestive Health Partners is taking a careful and coordinated approach to resume these services. We will resume scheduling essential elective procedures beginning May 4th, 2020.
All procedures will be performed in keeping with the very strict guidelines outlined by the Presidential Task Force, Governor Cooper, The North Carolina Department of Health, and our local Health Departments. Beginning May 18th, we will resume performing all elective procedures at our Endoscopy Centers in Asheville and Hendersonville.
We want to assure you we will continue our enhanced level of cleaning and disinfection in all of our Endoscopy rooms, exam rooms and throughout our offices. All of our staff are required to wear face masks and are screened carefully before being allowed to report to work. This includes temperature checks and a detailed screening for symptoms.
As you enter our offices, you will have your temperature checked and be required to complete a short questionnaire notifying us if you are having any symptoms or contact with others with COVID-19. You will also be requested to wear a mask that you can bring from home or we will provide for you, and maintain physical distancing while in our offices. At this time, patient family members or drivers are not allowed in our buildings.
Please be assured that all us at Digestive Health Partners have the utmost concern for your safety. If you have any questions or concerns, please click on the “contact us” box or call our offices.
