Krista joined AGA in November 2021 and previously completed a 12-month PA Hospitalist Fellowship at the University of Missouri Hospital from 2020-2021. She graduated from Lake Erie College Master of Physician Assistant Studies program in 2019. She was born and raised in Cleveland OH and formerly trained as a High school Science Teacher who transitioned careers in her early 30s to become a Physician Assistant.
She loves to combine travel & volunteer work, and has taught in Tema, Ghana and spent a summer doing volunteer work in the rainforest in Ecuador. She spends most of her free time in WNC mountain biking at Dupont State Forrest, hiking with her dog, Caramel, seeing live music, or kayaking the beautiful lakes of NC/SC/TN.
