An Advanced Level of Care

Office visits are by appointment only upon request by a referring physician. New patient consultation appointments are scheduled for 30-45 minutes and established patient appointments are scheduled for 15 minutes. If you anticipate your problem will require more time than this, or if you have multiple problems that may require a longer visit, please inform the scheduling staff ahead of time so we can better serve your needs and decrease waiting time for yourself and other patients.

Hours of Operation

Office hours vary by location. Our satellite offices are open each Tuesday of the week and staffed with a provider who performs office visits as well as endoscopic procedures at either Spruce Pine Hospital or McDowell Hospital. Please call our Biltmore office at (828) 254-0881 or our Hendersonville Office at 828-696-3099 to discuss your appointment requests.

Preparing for Your Appointment

In order to reduce your wait time, new patients are offered the opportunity to complete these forms prior to arriving for their scheduled appointment. Once downloaded as a pdf these forms can easily be printed and completed at your convenience. This provides you with time to read and understand what is being asked at your own pace and to collect any information that you might not have with you when you visit our office. Once completed these forms may be faxed to 828-258-1614 (Biltmore Office) or 828-696-3868 (Hendersonville Office) or emailed to, but must be received at least one business day prior to your visit. For safety, please bring copies of the completed forms with you.

New patients should arrive 30 minutes prior to their appointment in order to complete any pre-appointment paperwork, which will assist us in staying on time. In order to enter this information into your electronic medical record, we still ask that one arrive 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment. We ask that established patients arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to fill out interval history and insurance forms. Patients late for appointments may require rescheduling to another time, so as not to interfere with patients arriving on schedule.
