Ryan Nelsen, PA-C is originally from Henderson County. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Western Carolina University. While completing his undergraduate education, he worked for 3 years as a Paramedic in Rutherford County. Subsequently, he graduated from George Washington University with M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies.
After graduation, he promptly moved back to the mountains form the DC/Metro area to start his career in Gastroenterology.
Ryan currently lives in Hendersonville with his wife and three young girls. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and in the appropriate seasons, working in the garden, hunting and fishing.
